LONDON — A U.Okay. Conservative MP has been suspended from the occasion after being accused of watching pornography within the Home of Commons chamber.

Neil Parish, who chairs the surroundings, meals and rural affairs committee, faces an investigation by the requirements committee and the unbiased complaints scheme.

A spokesperson for the chief whip stated: “Having spoken to the chief whip this afternoon, Neil Parish MP is reporting himself to the requirements committee of the Home of Commons.”

They added that Parish has been suspended from the Conservative whip pending the result of that investigation.

The allegation was made at a meeting of Conservative MPs Tuesday geared toward enhancing the gender steadiness of parliament, the place attendees shared tales of sexism and sexual harassment at Westminster.

It comes after two weeks of misconduct revelations and claims of misogyny in parliament which have prompted many to name for a tougher approach to sustaining requirements.
