Tories Battling for Their First Niqab-Carrying Councillor
The Tories are in a battle for his or her first-ever Niqab-wearing councillor up in Blackburn – and the candidate’s husband is none apart from co-conspirator favorite, Tiger Patel. Tiger was elected final 12 months and received followers on-line after dubbing himself the “Bojo of Blackburn”, releasing a viral campaign video to accompany his coverage of fixing the native playground. Now Tiger’s spouse and mom to their 4 kids, Fajila, is campaigning to hitch him on the council. She could be the Tories’ first Niqab-clad councillor if victorious. Requested by the Mail if she was offended by Boris’s historic feedback concerning the veil, she mentioned “I don’t agree with every little thing a Conservative Occasion politician says or does.”
“Some feedback are indefensible. I’m not attempting to make an announcement I’m simply attempting to point out that as a lady I could make a distinction.”
