On this episode of Horns of a Dilemma, historian Paul Kennedy speaks about his new e book, Victory at Sea: Naval Energy and the Transformation of the World Order in World Battle II. The e book is uncommon in that it’s fantastically illustrated with quite a few work by the late maritime artist Ian Marshall. Kennedy discusses the origins of his collaboration with Marshall — how he had initially inspired Marshall to publish a group of his work with a foreword by Kennedy — and the way this grew right into a quantity that builds from the work to a sweeping view of the army, technological, and social modifications introduced by World Battle II, which dramatically altered the worldwide order.
