Flagship Russian cruiser ‘EXPLODES after Ukrainian missile strike’ weeks after firing on defiant Snake Island defenders

Odesa governor Maksym Marchenko victoriously claimed the strike had induced “critical harm” to the flagship cruiser.

Ammunition onboard is assumed to have blown up, sparking a blaze, with Russian state media saying all crew had been evacuated.

Moscow’s defence ministry are stated to have introduced the reason for the blast is being investigated.

Governor Marchenko triumphantly wrote on Telegram: “Neptune missiles guarding the Black Sea induced very critical harm to the Russian ship. Glory to Ukraine!”

It comes simply weeks after the soviet-era ship opened hearth on 13 defiant border guards tasked with defending Snake Island.

The Ukrainians infamously advised Putin’s males “go f**ok yourselves” after being requested to give up.

In line with Ukrainian presidential advisor Oleksiy Arestovych, the ship was “burning strongly” after the supposedly profitable strike.

He stated in a YouTube broadcast that “a shock occurred with the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet”.

Arestovych continued: “It burns strongly. Proper now. And with this stormy sea it’s unknown whether or not they’ll have the ability to obtain assist.

“There are 510 crew members. We do not perceive what occurred.”

The Moskva – a 600ft, 12,500 tonne cruiser – menacingly stalks the Black Sea and is the flagship of the fleet.

It turned infamous in the course of the early days of the battle after the Snake Island battle cry became a war call for Ukrainians.

Snake Island is dominated by Ukraine, but it surely sits simply miles from the coast of Romania.
